Kinetic Constants of Activated Sludge in Low Temperature

Abstract

|
|
This study was made to evaluate the kinetic constants of activated sludge by using Aeration-only Complete Mixing Activated Sludge Process operated at temperature of 1º,4º, 7º and 10°C and aeration time from 60 to 240 hours. Study results indicate that there would be little difference of the kinetic constants such as the cell yield coefficient upon temperature changes.
